YYC Raging Grannies

The YYC Raging Grannies are a group of women who use humour and song to promote peace, social justice, and environmental protection. We were founded in 1998 by a group of women who were concerned about the state of the world and wanted to do something to make a difference.

We meet once a week to plan our activities, sing songs, and make crafts. We perform at public events, such as protests, rallies, and festivals. We also write letters to the editor, sign petitions, and attend city council meetings.

We believe that everyone has a right to a voice, and we are committed to using our voices to speak out against injustice. We believe that humour is a powerful tool for social change, and we use it to make people think about important issues in a new way.

We are a non-partisan group, but we are politically astute. We are aware of the issues that affect our community and our world, and we are committed to working for positive change.

We are a diverse group of women from all walks of life. We are mothers, grandmothers, sisters, and friends. We are retired, working, and unemployed. We are young and old. We are all different, but we are united by our common goal of making the world a better place.

We are the YYC Raging Grannies, and we are here to rage against injustice, promote peace, and protect the environment.
