DrugFAM is a family support service that cares for the families and loved ones of people with a substance misuse problem. Caring for an addict is a constant source of worry and can come to dominate your whole life. Often you will feel isolated and stigmatised and get to the point where you don’t know what to do next.
You don’t have to face this battle on your own.
DrugFAM offers a range of support services which will help you to cope with life. These include; weekly support groups, one-to-once counselling, telephone and email support and befriending. DrugFAM also runs an annual ‘Bereaved by Addiction’ conference where people who have lost a loved one through addiction come together to support one another and share their experiences.
