BATB is an online resource and platform dedicated to providing tools, guidance, and support for individuals pursuing a legal career, particularly those on the journey to becoming a barrister in England and Wales.

  • Founder: The platform was established in August 2017 by Blessing Mukosha Park, a practicing barrister.
  • Mission and Content: BATB provides practical resources designed to simplify the path to the Bar. It offers a wide range of paid and free materials, including:
    • Guides and Templates: Resources covering every stage of the legal journey, such as advice on applications, interviews, pupillage, and early practice.
    • Study Aids: Materials for the Bar Course (formerly BPTC), including notes and study systems.
    • Workshops and Webinars: Focused on practical skills, personal development, and professional branding.
    • Community: It hosts an online community network and events.
  • Focus on Access and Diversity: Blessing at the Bar actively works to promote equality of access to the Bar. Its founder shares candid insights into her own journey and focuses on helping aspiring barristers from underrepresented backgrounds, including through her work with the Bridging the Bar Committee.

By allowing a candid insight into her journey to become a happy and successful Barrister, Blessing engages with many others who are either on her path, have started practising or have yet to do either.
