Community Alliance with Family Farmers

Community Alliance with Family Farmers has been recognized nationally and internationally for its pioneering programs, and played key roles in enacting the nation’s toughest laws regulating pesticide use; promoting the development of organic farming; bringing fresh, local produce into school cafeterias; and establishing programs to distribute locally grown produce to community grocery stores, hospitals, restaurants and farmers markets.

Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF), a California-based nonprofit organization that advocates for family farmers and sustainable agriculture. CAFF was founded in 1978 and has been a leading voice in the fight for fair prices, access to markets, and sustainable farming practices for family farmers in California.

Community Alliance with Family Farmers works on a variety of issues, including:
