Foreign Press Association

The Foreign Press Association of New York is a nonprofit, independent, professional body of foreign correspondents based in the United States. Founded in 1918, the Foreign Press Association represents more than 400 members from 50 different countries. Although the bulk of its members come from Europe, there is not a single region in the world which is not represented among the membership. We are in the forefront of efforts to protect overseas journalists' rights here and to defend press freedom everywhere.
