Living Rent is a Scottish, member-run, democratic tenants’ union fighting for affordable and safe
housing for everyone. It believes in people coming together to stop landlord exploitation and unfair
evictions, showing how powerful a collective can be. Since establishment, Living Rent has influenced
changes in housing laws, won thousands of cases against unfair treatment of tenants, and fought
tirelessly for an improvement of the system currently relying on exploitation the working class.
Living Rent is funded solely by members’ dues and donations, which operate on a voluntary
subscription basis. However, you do not need to be a member to obtain their help - they are
dedicated to aiding everyone in need. During the current nationwide housing crisis, organisations
