The Paper Cup Project is a Liverpool-based charity that aims to help people who are homeless or/and sleeping rough. We offer food, hot drinks, clothes and more importantly, support and advice. Our group signposts people towards the right services and support.
We were founded in 2015 by Michelle Langan, as a response to the growing homelessness crisis. In 2019, we were awarded official charity status.
We are made up of volunteers, who give up their time every week to help those in need, all year round.
We operate a mobile kitchen, which we take to different locations around Liverpool where rough sleepers are known to congregate. We also have a coffee shop in the city centre, which provides a safe and welcoming space for people to come and get a hot drink and a bite to eat.
In addition to providing food and drink, we also offer a range of other services, including:
We believe that everyone deserves a safe and dignified place to live. We are committed to helping people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to get back on their feet.
