SKETCH is a non-profit organization that provides arts programming and support to young people who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness in Toronto.
Our Story
SKETCH was founded in 1994 by a group of artists and activists who were concerned about the lack of support services for young people who were experiencing homelessness. The organization started with a small group of young people meeting in a community center, but it quickly grew and moved into its own premises.
Over the years, SKETCH has worked with thousands of young people, and it has seen the power of the arts to transform lives. SKETCH has helped young people to develop their creativity, to build confidence, and to find a sense of purpose. SKETCH has also helped young people to develop the skills they need to succeed in school and in the workforce.
