The Living Rainforest

The Living Rainforest is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the conservation of rainforests and their inhabitants. We are located in Hampstead Norreys, Berkshire, England, and we welcome visitors from all over the world.

Our mission is to inspire people to care about rainforests and to take action to protect them. We do this by providing educational experiences that allow visitors to learn about the rainforest and its importance. We also offer a variety of conservation programs that help to support rainforest communities and protect rainforest wildlife.

The Living Rainforest is home to over 850 species of plants and animals, including many rare and endangered species. Our three glasshouses recreate the different habitats of a rainforest, including the Amazon, the Congo, and the Malayan rainforests. Visitors can see a variety of animals, such as sloths, monkeys, snakes, birds, and insects. They can also learn about the plants that grow in rainforests and the role that they play in the ecosystem.

In addition to our educational exhibits, we also offer a variety of events and programs throughout the year. These events include talks by experts on rainforest conservation, family days, and school trips. We also offer a variety of volunteer opportunities for people who want to get involved in our conservation work.
