Beneath the Colorado sun, amidst the sprawling landscapes and bustling cities, The Marigold Project quietly cultivates a different kind of harvest. It's not one reaped from fertile fields, but one grown from the fertile ground of social justice, rooted in a passion for equity and fueled by the vibrant blooms of community action.
The Marigold Project is a private foundation founded in 2017 by Nathaniel Rateliff. TMP supports community and nonprofit organizations working on issues of economic, racial and social justice.
More Than a Foundation:
Forget stuffy boardrooms and rigid hierarchies. The Marigold Project is a pulsating organism, a dynamic network of passionate individuals and organizations united by a common goal: building a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Think of it as a vibrant marketplace, buzzing with ideas, initiatives, and unwavering support for those working on the frontlines of social change.
What are my skills? Who am I in community with? What are my commitments? What is my capacity? Which organizations can I join? How do I care for myself while being a member of my community? How do I move forward in solidarity, and not charity?

But The Marigold Project's reach extends beyond Colorado's borders. They understand that social justice is a global conversation, and they actively engage with national and international initiatives, sharing their expertise and learning from others. It's a constant exchange of knowledge, a cross-pollination of ideas that strengthens the global ecosystem of social change.
A Philosophy of Abundance:
And it all stems from a philosophy of abundance – a belief that the world holds enough resources for everyone to flourish. The Marigold Project doesn't hoard knowledge or funding; they share it generously, creating a ripple effect of empowerment that resonates far beyond their immediate circle.
