Join our community in action! Our focus on creating a bee-friendly community is a beautiful endeavor. But a healthy ecosystem thrives on balance, and that includes ensuring the well-being of all its members. In Central Florida, this extends to addressing the issue of homelessness and within Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties.

Homelessness is a complex issue with a significant impact on our community. Recent Point-in-Time counts by the Homeless Services Network of Central Florida (HSNCF) show a concerning rise in the number of individuals experiencing homelessness. This increase is often linked to rising housing costs, making it difficult for low-income residents to find stable and affordable housing.

The Human Cost of Homelessness

The consequences of homelessness are far-reaching. Individuals without homes face a multitude of challenges, including lack of access to healthcare, food insecurity, and increased vulnerability to crime. This not only impacts their well-being but also strains social services and resources.

Bridging the Gap: How You Can Help

While we strive to create a haven for bees, let's not forget the human element of our ecosystem. Here are some ways we can bridge the gap and address homelessness in our community:
