Limited access to secondary schools in rural Liberia compels over 20,000 rural students to pursue secondary education in urban communities each year. But the lack of support to accommodate these students forces them to drop from school and return to their rural communities where they continue to live in poverty. Your donation will go towards the construction of an initial housing unit to provide charitable urban accommodation for rural students as they seek to overcome this challenge.
Limited access to secondary schools in rural Liberia compels over 20,000 rural students to pursue secondary education in urban communities each year. But the lack of support to accommodate these students forces them to drop from school and return to their rural communities where they continue to live in poverty. As government continues to grapple with upgrading rural primary schools to secondary level, students in these communities desirous of secondary education can't keep waiting.
Ending poverty in Liberia requires holistic investments in programs that promote access to quality education among the youth, particularly those in rural communities. Thus, all donations to this fund will go toward the erection of two initial housing units to provide charitable urban accommodation for rural students as they seek to overcome the challenge of limited access to secondary schools in their communities.
The provision of urban housing will create a safe home for rural students away from home as they seek to overcome the challenge of limited access to secondary schools in their communities. It will also limit the possibility of these already impoverished young people of dropping from school due to the high cost of accommodation in the city. Importantly, it will create an avenue for them to get the right education and return to meaningfully contribute to the transformation of their communities. To help, please join us.
