Sonder Dream Press is the name for the independent work of Jennifer Hyams, who is dedicated to creating and publishing personal, tangible art that brings meaningful content from the fleeting digital space into the physical world.
This project stands as a celebration of the analog experience, primarily through Mail Art, photography, and short-form literary content. The project was born from a desire to counteract the digital "dumping ground" where countless meaningful images get buried. We've become accustomed to the speed and convenience of digital life, but this work is a conscious effort to rewind to a time when receiving something in the mail from a real person, something analogue, was a welcome event.
Jennifer’s mission is simple: to turn your mailbox into a tiny museum by creating physical, collectible art that can be put in a shoebox, framed, or passed along as gifts, giving the work a real-world existence it can't find online.
The primary focus of Sonder Dream Press is the production and distribution of Jennifer's original art and publications:
● The Mailbox as a Museum (Monthly Postcards): This is the core offering, fusing my original Street Photography with my own accompanying Flash Fiction to create a collectible form of Postcard Poetry and Mail Art delivered directly to your door.

● Quarterly Digital Magazine (PDF): Packed with photo reviews, articles, and more for all patrons.
● Annual Print Magazine: A Physical, "Best of the Year" annual collection of my work mailed once a year to top-tier patrons.
● Coming Soon: Expansion to include Zines + Limited Editions released every three months.
This work plays a critical role in fostering a small community around tangible art and reminds us of the complexity and beauty inherent in the human experience by giving physical permanence to Poetic Moments.
Supporting the work allows Jennifer to cover the costs of getting her art into the real world. The world needs its dreamers, and more importantly, its dedicated editors such as Jennifer Hyams who are willing to publish those artistic dreams.
